We have developed a new type of adsorbent material based on coated spheres that are reusable and adaptable to different pollutants. This material is applied in conventional housing filters and allows to adsorb dissolved pollutants that are afterwards desorbed as aggregates in the counter-wash without the production of rejection waters.
